In 2025, Abhyas initiated a national dialogue on mental health and well-being in Mauritius—bringing together diverse voices to begin a conversation that was much needed for the times ahead.
In 2026, we take that conversation forward. Mental Well-being for All 2026 will bring together voices of change from across the different segments of Mauritian society—people, professionals, institutions and organisations working to create better conditions for mental well-being.
From schools and universities to workplaces, healthcare, rehabilitation, communities, youth and social development, every sector has a role to play. Each sees different realities, carries different experiences and has different opportunities to contribute.
This year’s gathering is therefore not only about speaking about mental well-being. It is about recognising the work already taking place, creating meaningful connections between those working in different areas, and exploring how these connections can lead to greater collaboration.
Through dialogue, shared experiences and opportunities to connect, the conference will create a space where voices can meet, ideas can connect and meaningful collaborations can begin.
The intention is to move beyond a single day of discussion—to encourage relationships and conversations that can continue beyond the conference and contribute to the wellbeing of people and communities across Mauritius.
Mental Well-being for All 2026 is Abhyas’ continued effort to bring people and organisations together around an issue that concerns every part of society.
Bringing voices of change together.
Creating meaningful collaborations.
Moving forward.
